Fasulo was able to afford such a big purchase thanks to her lucrative career. She earns $378,000 per year through jobs she does on Fiverr PRO, the higher-end version of the platform where freelancers offer their services worldwide.

“I’ve reached the point where Fiverr Pro markets my work for me,” said Fasulo. “But to get to that point, you have to be able to market yourself, too. A big part of building my credibility on the site was marketing myself off Fiverr, then having clients purchase my services through Fiverr.”

Last year, Fasulo made about $271,000 from Fiverr, according to records viewed by Insider. This wasn't an overnight success — it came about after years of gradually scaling her services and strategy. Additionally, she now outsources her contracts to six other freelancers.
